Biography
Gholamhossein Ghayeghvar was a First Warrant Officer and commando in the Imperial Iranian Army who participated in the 1980 Nojeh coup attempt (Shahrokhi Uprising). Following a televised trial where he reportedly confronted his accusers and stated his only motive was his love for his country, he was executed by firing squad on July 20, 1980.
غلامحسین قایقور استوار یکم و کماندوی ارتش شاهنشاهی بود که در جریان قیام شاهرخی (کودتای نوژه) در سال ۱۳۵۹ شرکت داشت. او پس از بازداشت و محاکمه در دادگاهی که در آن بر میهنپرستی خود تأکید کرد، در تاریخ ۲۹ تیر ۱۳۵۹ تیرباران شد.
